Auger Bit
Description
Industrial Auger Bits (Multiple Diameters)
The Right Size for Every Hole
The best auger drive is only as good as the bit on the end of it. We carry a full range of heavy-duty, industrial-grade auger bits designed to chew through the toughest Ohio clay, shale, and rooted soil. Whether you are installing a residential fence or digging large footings for a pole barn, S & K Rental, Inc. has the diameter you need.
All of our bits feature reinforced flights and replaceable wear parts to ensure fast soil removal and clean, professional holes.
Available Sizes & Applications:
- 6" to 9" Bits: The go-to choice for T-posts, chain-link fence posts, and small ornamental plantings.
- 12" to 18" Bits: Ideal for deck footers, 4x4 or 6x6 fence posts, and medium-sized shrubs.
- 24" to 36" Bits: Heavy-duty diameters designed for large utility piers, pole building footers, and large balled-and-burlapped (B&B) trees.
Built for Performance:
- Aggressive Teeth: Equipped with heavy-duty, replaceable teeth that can be swapped out based on soil conditions (standard dirt or rocky ground).
- Heavy-Duty Pilot Points: Features a hardened center point to prevent "walking" and ensure your hole starts exactly where you marked it.
- High-Efficiency Flighting: Designed with a specific pitch to lift soil out of the hole rapidly, reducing the time spent cleaning out the bottom of the pier.
- Universal Fit: Our bits utilize a standard 2-inch hex or round hub (depending on your drive unit) to ensure a secure, high-torque connection.
Pro-Tip for Rental:
Not sure what size you need? General rule: For concrete footings, your bit should be at least 2 to 3 inches wider than your post to allow for proper concrete encasement.
